ADDC visits GMS Chairhara, Budgam

School renamed as Constable Abdul Rashid Mir GMS.

BUDGAM, NOVEMBER 23 ( KINS): The Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam, Akramullah Tak today visited Girls Government Middle School (GMS) Chairhara, Budgam.

During the visit, the ADDC inaugurated the Renaming of School as Constable Abdul Rashid Mir in the memory of Constable who laid his life in year 1995 in the service of Nation.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that the approach road connecting school shall be constructed at an earliest besides there shall be wall fencing of the school to prevent any kind of landslide.

The school shall also be provided with drinking water supply as demanded by the staff and students of the school, the ADDC added.

Later, the ADDC also participated in admission cum enrollment drive of children in the Government school.

Both ADDC & CEO lauded the role of parents in admitting their wards at Government Schools.

The ADDC was accompanied by CEO Budgam, DIO and other concerned officers and officials.( KINS)
