SHOPIAN, NOVEMBER 25 ( KINS): A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) regarding verification of cases of beneficiaries registered under J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (BOCWWB) was held today at Mini Secretariat, Arhama here under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya.
On the occasion, the Chairman DLIC (DDC) held a detailed discussion with regard to the verification of cases of beneficiaries registered under BOCWWB and stressed on the time bound verification process to ensure timely disbursement of financial assistance in favour of eligible genuine beneficiaries.
The DDC emphasised to pace up the verification process and ensure timely disbursement of financial assistance in favour of registered BOCW under various Welfare schemes including Marriage Assistance, Educational Assistance, Death & Funeral Assistance, Disability and Chronic diseases etc.
Assistant Commissioner Labour Department, Abdul Majid Tantray; Assistant Director, Employment; Block Development Officers and other concerned were present in the meeting.( KINS)
