BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 28 ( KINS): To review the arrangements for smooth celebration of upcoming Republic Day 2022 across the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Bhupinder Kumar today chaired a meeting of various concerned departments at Dak Bungalow, here.
The DC discussed in detail all the arrangements to be made for smooth conduct of the National event.
On the occasion, the DC stressed for close synergy among the concerned departments while making arrangements.
During the meeting, threadbare discussions were held on the subject where all the concerned departments were directed to put in place all requisite arrangements in advance for printing of invitation cards, selection of contingents, cultural items, transportation, sanitation and cleanliness.
Necessary directions were also issued to the concerned departments for selection of contingents, cultural programmes, rehearsals, and transportation facilities for participants besides, traffic management, security, presentation, refreshment, installation of screens/ LEDs and other important arrangements for smooth conduct of Republic day celebration.
The meeting was attended by SSP Baramulla, Rayees Mohammad Bhat, ADDC Baramulla, Aijaz Abdullah Saraf and Officers of line departments, Police, Army and CRPF besides other functionaries of concerned departments. ( KINS)
