Srinagar, Dec 31: Sonam Lotus has delivered a forecast that dampens hopes for significant snowfall until January 10.
The absence of substantial snowfall can have various implications, especially in regions heavily dependent on winter precipitation for water resources and winter tourism. Sonam Lotus wrote on x,
“NO forecast of Good Snowfall till 10th Jan in Ladakh, J&K and H. P”.
Weather officials said that as of now, the current weather patterns do not indicate any major snowfall events in the aforementioned areas during the specified timeframe.
Residents and stakeholders, particularly those associated with winter tourism activities, are closely monitoring the weather updates.
