SMC commemorates 75th Republic Day with Flag Unfurling Ceremony

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 26: Today, the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great Patriotism and Enthusiasm at its Central office in Karan Nagar, Srinagar.
The ceremony was marked by the Unfurling of the National Flag by the Commissioner SMC/CEO, SSCL, Dr. Owais Ahmed amidst a gathering of distinguished guests, officials, community leaders, senior citizens and youth.
The event commenced with the rendition of the National Anthem, which echoed through the premises, evoking a sense of pride and unity among all present. The atmosphere was imbued with the spirit of patriotism and reverence for the historic occasion.
Dr. Owais Ahmed extended warm greetings to all attendees for 75th Republic Day celebrations, highlighting the rich legacy of India’s Democratic Values and the importance of upholding the Country’s Unity in diversity. He underscored the pivotal role of SMC in delivering Citizen Centric Services among the residents of Srinagar City.
The flag hoisting ceremony, a poignant symbol of National Pride and Sovereignty, was conducted with meticulous precision, symbolizing the unwavering commitment to the ideals enshrined in the Indian Constitution. As the tricolour unfurled majestically against the azure sky, it elicited a surge of emotions, signifying the collective aspirations of the people and the relentless pursuit of progress and prosperity.
