DC Kulgam Optimistic as Door-to-Door Waste Collection Gains Momentum in Villages

Srinagar, Feb 14: The Deputy Commissioner of Kulgam has expressed profound satisfaction with the progress of door-to-door solid waste collection in the villages of Kulgam district.
Underlining the efficiency of the Public-Private Partnership model, the DC highlighted the significant strides made in waste management efforts.
“We are extremely happy with the way door-to-door solid waste collection is picking up in our villages of Kulgam district,” stated the DC. “The Public-Private Partnership model is ensuring its efficiency, and we are hopeful that within the next couple of months, the system will be well established across the district.”
The initiative aligns with the broader Swachh Kulgam campaign, aiming to promote cleanliness and sustainable waste management practices.
With the collaborative efforts of the community and stakeholders, Kulgam is poised to achieve remarkable progress in maintaining environmental hygiene and ensuring a healthier living environment for its residents.
