NC still part of INDIA alliance, says Omar Abdullah

Srinagar Feb 15 (KINS): After National Conference president Farooq Abdullah initially announced independent participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, his son Omar Abdullah clarified later that they remain part of the INDIA alliance. Farooq stated that NC would contest alone, but Omar mentioned ongoing talks with Congress for seat arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Omar emphasized that the media had created a “fake narrative” about NC leaving the INDIA alliance, reaffirming their commitment to the alliance’s primary goal of defeating the BJP. (KINS)
