Kashmir Must Reject Era of Loot and Separatism by Abdullahs and Muftis: Tarun Chugh

Srinagar, May 17: BJP General Secretary and J&K incharge, Tarun Chugh, urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to decisively move past the era of “loot and separatism” perpetuated by the Abdullah and Mufti families. Chugh’s appeal came during a series of public meetings in Poonch district as part of the ongoing Lok Sabha election campaign.
Chugh criticized the politics of separation and pro-Pakistan sentiments attributed to the Abdullahs and Muftis, calling for their complete political rejection. He emphasized that these leaders have long exploited the region, keeping the populace in the dark for their “cheap and anti-national politics.”
“All these years, J&K has suffered under vicious forces that prioritized their gain over the well-being of the people,” Chugh stated. “The Abdullahs, Muftis, and Gandhis filled their coffers while leaving the people of Kashmir in poverty and deprivation.”
Highlighting the development initiatives under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, Chugh asserted that a new chapter of progress and prosperity is being written for Kashmir. He pointed out that these initiatives aim to make J&K’s youth as competitive as their peers across India.
Chugh concluded by urging the people to send a clear message in the elections: “It’s time to send the Abdullahs and Muftis back to their homes for the devastation they have caused over the years.”
