Srinagar, Oct 07 (KINS): As Doda prepares for the crucial vote counting in the 2024 Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, security arrangements have been intensified across the region.
Doda Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mohammad Aslam, while speaking about the preparations for October 8, confirmed that a comprehensive deployment plan has been put in place in coordination with other security agencies.
“Police, in coordination with other security agencies, have already released a deployment plan. We have also deployed a three-tier security in Doda town. Adequate security force is present in the town,” said SSP Aslam as per news agency KINS, assuring the public of safety during the counting process.
The deployment plan is part of an extensive strategy to ensure peace and security during the counting of votes.
In addition to the three-tier security in Doda, additional forces have been stationed at key locations to address any potential disruptions.
The authorities have emphasized their commitment to maintaining order and ensuring the smooth completion of the election process.
“We are fully prepared to handle any situation that may arise,” added SSP Aslam, further underlining the readiness of the security apparatus for tomorrow’s event. (KINS)
