CM Omar Abdullah to make first visit to Jammu today after taking Oath, ‘party leaders, workers eagerly await his arrival’

Srinagar, Oct 19 (KINS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is set to visit Jammu today, marking his first trip to the region since being sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir. Excitement is building among the party’s rank and file, with Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) leaders and workers preparing to give CM Omar Abdullah a grand welcome.
News agency KINS reported that hoardings featuring the Chief Minister have been installed at the JKNC party headquarters in Jammu and surrounding areas, highlighting the importance of this visit. Party members, who have gathered in large numbers, expressed enthusiasm for Omar’s arrival.
Security has been tightened outside the NC headquarters to ensure a smooth visit.
Sources have confirmed that CM Omar Abdullah is expected to meet with party leaders and workers during his visit.
Speaking to KINS a senior NC leader said, “This visit is a moment of pride for all of us. CM Omar Abdullah’s leadership brings new hope for the region, and we are excited to hear from him directly today.”
Party workers, eagerly waiting at the headquarters, echoed similar sentiments. “We’ve been looking forward to this day. CM Omar Abdullah’s leadership will strengthen the party, and we are confident that his vision will lead Jammu and Kashmir to new heights,” said one excited worker.(KINS)
