JMC launches revamped public grievances & feedback management system

KINS DESK

Srinagar, Oct 19 (KINS): In a major step towards enhancing citizen services, the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has launched a revamped Public Grievances & Feedback Management System, an online web application designed to streamline municipal services and improve accountability.
The new platform enables residents to easily report issues, such as sanitation problems, water supply concerns, and civic infrastructure defects, directly to the municipal authorities.
News agency KINS reported that this initiative also includes a dedicated management system for municipal men and machinery, allowing for better coordination and faster response times.
The digital interface is user-friendly, making it easier for the public to track the status of their complaints, provide feedback, and ensure timely resolution of grievances.
Speaking at the launch event, JMC Commissioner Rahul Yadav highlighted the importance of digital innovation in governance, stating that the upgraded system aims to bring more transparency and efficiency to the city’s administrative services.
He added that the initiative is in line with the government’s vision of transforming Jammu into a smart and digitally advanced city.
The new system is expected to not only improve the civic experience for residents but also enhance the overall functioning of municipal services through real-time data collection and monitoring of operations.(KINS)
