Srinagar, Nov 11: Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), engaged with multiple delegations from different areas of Kashmir at the party’s Nawa-i-Subh headquarters in Srinagar. Residents voiced their concerns over ongoing issues such as electricity shortages, water scarcity, poor road conditions, and high youth unemployment.
Dr. Abdullah assured attendees that these pressing issues have been included in the party’s manifesto and reiterated JKNC’s commitment to addressing them swiftly. The meeting was attended by key party members, including JKNC Provincial President Advocate Showkat Ahmad Mir, senior leader Peer Mohammad Hussain Soorvardi, Honorable MLAs Dr. Mohammad Shafi and Salman Ali Sagar, as well as State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar.
Earlier, Dr. Abdullah visited Shahi Hamdan Colony in Zakura, where he interacted with locals to discuss their grievances firsthand. He was joined by Honorable Hasnain Masoodi, Mubarak Gul, and Salman Ali Sagar, further strengthening the party’s outreach efforts in the region.
