LG Manoj Sinha pays tribute to Baba Jitto at Jhiri Mela

Jammu , Nov 16 : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha visited Baba Jitto’s Samadhi at Jhiri Village, offering his respects to the legendary farmer saint known for his sacrifice and fight for justice. Baba Jitto’s legacy remains an enduring source of inspiration, urging collective efforts toward nation-building and upholding the dignity of labor.
During his visit to the Jhiri Mela, the LG interacted with the farmers, acknowledging their hard work and pivotal role in strengthening the nation’s agricultural backbone. The Jhiri Mela, held annually, celebrates Baba Jitto’s life and values, drawing farmers and devotees from across the region.
