Fire damages girls hostel in Kupwara

Srinagar, Nov 17 (KINS): Fire engulfed a three-story building housing a girls hostel in Gulgam village of Kupwara district on Sunday evening.
The hostel, operated by the Social Welfare Department, sustained significant damage, but all girls were evacuated safely, averting any casualties.
According to news agency KINS, the fire broke out around dusk, triggering an immediate response from fire tenders stationed at Trehgam and Kralpora.
Firefighters battled relentlessly to contain the flames and protect nearby buildings from the blaze.
Authorities have launched an investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire.(KINS)
