DC Baramulla reviews security measures at mega construction sites

Srinagar, Nov 21 (KINS): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Gurinderpal Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore Shabir Ahmad Raina, and Superintendent of Police Sopore Divya Dev, conducted a comprehensive inspection of mega project construction sites across the district, including Hadipora, Sangrama, Delina, Palhallan, and surrounding areas.
The visit focused on evaluating safety and security protocols to ensure laborers’ well-being, enhance surveillance, and prevent untoward incidents.
During the inspection, the DC stressed the need for a safe working environment and directed officials to install CCTV cameras and ensure proper lighting at construction and accommodation sites. Interacting with workers, he assured them of the administration’s commitment to their safety and welfare.
The DC also urged project teams to prioritize adherence to safety protocols while expediting construction timelines without compromising standards. Emphasizing a robust security framework, he reaffirmed the administration’s dedication to providing a secure and supportive environment for laborers contributing to these developmental projects.(KINS)
