No winter vacations before culmination of final exams in School s: Director SED Kashmir

‘Fee fixation committee to keep check on any violation by schools’

Srinagar, Nov 23 (KINS) :Tassaduq Hussain, the Director of School Education Kashmir, today emphasized that there would be no winter vacations granted to students prior to the completion of the final exams in schools.
This decision comes as part of the administration’s commitment to maintaining the academic schedule, ensuring that students receive adequate time for exam preparation and completion.
The announcement suggests that the school calendar will be adhered to strictly, with the final exams taking precedence over the usual winter break. The move is intended to help students focus on their studies and not be distracted by premature holidays. By delaying the start of winter vacations until after exams, authorities hope to maintain the academic rhythm and support students in achieving their best possible results.
In addition to this, Director Hussain addressed concerns regarding the issue of school fees, which has been a topic of considerable discussion among parents and education authorities. He reassured the public that the Fee Fixation Committee is actively overseeing the fee structure in schools across the Kashmir region. This committee plays a crucial role in regulating and monitoring the fees charged by educational institutions, ensuring they align with the official fee guidelines and are justified based on the services and facilities provided by the schools.
The committee’s oversight is intended to prevent any instances of schools charging excessive or unapproved fees, which has been a concern in some areas. By keeping a close watch on fee structures, the authorities are ensuring that schools remain compliant with the established rules, and parents are not burdened with unfair financial demands. The Director also mentioned that any violations of the fee structure by schools would be dealt with seriously, and appropriate action would be taken against institutions found in breach of the regulations.
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to protecting the rights of students and parents, promoting transparency, and ensuring that education remains accessible and affordable for all. The enforcement of these measures aims to create a fair and balanced educational environment, where both students and families are supported and treated justly.(KINS)
