Srinagar, Dec 02 (KINS): Jammu and Kashmir government has directed treasury officers to ensure that all employees make contributions towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
In observance of Armed Forces Flag Day on December 7, 2024, the Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department in a circular as per news agency KINS said, “As per past practice, all treasury officers are directed to impress upon the DDOs operating upon their treasuries to ensure donation to the fund by all the employees”.
“Gazetted Officers are required to donate a minimum of Rs. 200, while Non-Gazetted Officials must donate Rs. 100 from their December salaries.
Donations can be made through cheque or bank draft in favor of the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund, or via NEFT to the Rajya Sainik Board’s account at J&K Bank”.(KINS)
