Kulgam, Dec 23 (KINS): Member of Parliament (MP) Mian Altaf Larvi, representing the Anantnag-Rajouri parliamentary constituency, inaugurated the upgraded Chawalgam to DB Shopian road via Nillow on Monday. The project was completed under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY).
News gathering agency KINS reported that Mian Altaf was joined by Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Amir Khan, and senior officials from the PMGSY department, including the Chief Engineer, Executive Engineer, and Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE).
Speaking at the event, MP Larvi praised the PMGSY team for completing the 7.6 km road project on time. He emphasized the importance of good road infrastructure in improving connectivity and enhancing mobility in the region.
The locals expressed their appreciation for the PMGSY department, for completing the project quickly and efficiently. The road was executed by Unique Construction Company, earning praise for its timely delivery.(KINS)
