Congress Leader G A Mir termes MP Ruhullah’s protest as ‘camera show’

Srinagar, Dec 24: Senior Congress leader and MLA Dooru, Ghulam Ahmad Mir, criticized Srinagar MP Aga Ruhullah Mehdi’s protest against the reservation policy as a mere “camera show.”
Speaking at a press conference in Srinagar, Mir said Ruhullah could have directly discussed the issue with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who was just minutes away, instead of staging a public protest.
“It’s become a trend to seek media attention. A responsible MP should have acted more seriously,” Mir remarked, responding to questions about Ruhullah’s demonstration outside the CM’s residence.(KINS)
