Police initiate action against sectarian remarks on social media
Srinagar, January 14: The Srinagar Police have taken cognizance of derogatory sectarian remarks made by certain individuals on social media platforms.
According to officials, these individuals are currently being questioned at the police station, and appropriate legal action will be taken in accordance with the law.
Over the past few months, authorities have noted a concerning trend of individuals with malicious intentions engaging in sectarian slander on social media. These activities are allegedly aimed at creating divisions within the community.
The police have issued a stern warning, stating that legal action will follow due process and will be taken against all offenders. Furthermore, individuals found sharing or forwarding such derogatory content against any sect will face strict action under the full force of the law.
