SSP Baramulla Holds Public Interaction at Bijhama, Uri

Srinagar, Jan 23 (KINS): The Baramulla Police, led by SSP Gurinderpal Singh (IPS), organized a public meeting at the Community Hall in Bijhama, Uri. The event was attended by SDPO Uri Shoket Ali (JKPS), SHO PS Bijhama Insp. Irshad Ahmad, and other police officers, along with local community leaders, social activists, religious figures, traders, and residents from Bijhama and surrounding areas.
During the meeting, attendees raised various concerns, particularly related to police issues, which were addressed by the police. Other civil matters were assured to be forwarded to the relevant departments for resolution.
SSP Gurinderpal Singh stressed the importance of strengthening community policing to build trust between the public and the police. He also highlighted the need for collective action to fight against drug abuse and social issues, urging everyone to work together for the betterment of the community.
The event ended on a positive note with a mutual exchange of thanks, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the police and the public.(KINS)
