Jammu,, Apr 09 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today attended the celebration of Navkar Mahamantra Divas at Raj Bhavan.
Extending his greetings to citizens from all walks of life, members of the Jain International Trade Organization (JITO), various social and religious bodies, and senior officials, the Lieutenant Governor appreciated the collective spirit of devotion marked by the recitation of the sacred Navkar Mahamantra.
“For thousands of years, several significant mantras have been guiding the path of seekers and devotees. Among them, the Navkar Mahamantra stands out with its unique aura and divine essence,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
He observed that the Navkar Mahamantra, one of the most revered and universal chants, inspires inner transformation and fosters spiritual awakening.
“Where there is love and harmony, there is God. That is true power. A person is closest to the divine when their heart is filled with goodwill,” he said.
Shri Sinha further emphasized, “It is my firm belief that the most precious assets of any society are love, harmony, peace, and compassion. A person who embodies these qualities has the potential to uplift humanity.”
Reflecting on the deeper meaning of life, the Lieutenant Governor said, “I believe the true purpose of life lies in self-discovery. When we understand ourselves, it becomes clear that life is not meant for small pursuits. God has given us this life with a greater purpose—selfless service to society and the welfare of all living beings.”
The Navkar Mahamantra Divas celebration also marked a global spiritual initiative, with people from over 108 countries participating in the observance aimed at promoting peace and universal harmony.
