Petronet Kashmir Super 50 delivers outstanding results in JEE Mains 2025

Srinagar, Apr 21 (KINS) The Kashmir Super 50 initiative, a collaborative effort by the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, CSRL, and Petronet LNG Limited, has once again showcased remarkable success in the JEE Mains 2025 examination. Among the standout performers, Tsering Chosphel secured an impressive 95.29 percentile, followed closely by Fasil Bashir Wani with 95.17 percentile, and Mohammad Abass with 92.31 percentile.

Since its inception, the programme has maintained a commendable success rate of 63%. Out of 425 enrolled students, 268 have secured admissions in prestigious engineering institutions across the country. This includes 28 placements in IITs, 110 in NITs, 11 in IIITs, and 119 in other reputed government colleges.

Designed to uplift talented students from Kashmir—especially those from remote and underprivileged regions—the initiative reflects the unwavering commitment of the Indian Army’s Chinar Corps to promote quality education and inclusive development.

Sharing his experience, student Sajid Ahmad said, “The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army, CSRL and Petronet gave me the tools and support I needed to succeed. I’m deeply grateful to the faculty and mentors who stood by us throughout.”

Echoing this sentiment, Shri Krishnamurti Singh, Director of Operations at CSRL, New Delhi, lauded the students’ accomplishments. “We are incredibly proud of our students. Their perseverance, combined with our structured academic framework, has yielded this exceptional result.”

The continued success of the Kashmir Super 50 programme stands as a testament to the power of focused mentorship, inclusive education, and community-oriented efforts.
