LG Manoj Sinha holds meeting in Srinagar with Political leaders to discuss Amarnath Yatra 2025 arrangements

Srinagar, June 26 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, on Thursday chaired a high-level meeting with political leaders to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra 2025 and ensure its smooth and peaceful conduct.

News agency KINS reported that the meeting witnessed participation from a wide range of political leadership, including Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Altaf Bukhari, Sajad Gani Lone, M.Y. Tarigami, G.A. Mir, Hakeem Mohmmad Yaseen, and several others.

During the interaction, the leaders shared their suggestions and pledged full support and cooperation for the successful organization of the annual pilgrimage.

LG Sinha briefed the political representatives about the comprehensive arrangements being put in place, including pilgrim facilities, security measures, and coordination between civil administration, security forces, and other stakeholders.

He emphasized the need for collective efforts to uphold the sanctity of the Yatra and ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all devotees.

Reiterating the significance of collaborative governance, the LG said that the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is a symbol of faith and unity, and its successful conduct reflects the collective commitment of all stakeholders to peace, harmony, and hospitality in the region.(KIINS)
