Khyber Cement renews title sponsorship of Kashmir Super League 2026

Srinagar, July 10 (KINS): Khyber Cement has renewed its title sponsorship of the Kashmir Super League (KSL) for the 2026 season, continuing its support for football and young players in Jammu and Kashmir.
The partnership was formally renewed at a signing ceremony held at Khyber Cement’s corporate office in Hyderpora, Srinagar.
The agreement was signed by Wasim Ahmed Khan, Chief Sales and Customer Relations at Khyber Cement, and Mushtaq Bashir, representing the Kashmir Super League, in the presence of senior company officials.
The Khyber Cement Kashmir Super League 2026 is scheduled to begin in August. The franchise-based league will feature six teams and 19 matches, providing around 120 footballers from across the region an opportunity to compete at a professional level and showcase their talent.
Umar Tramboo, Director Corporate & Strategy at Khyber Cement, said the company’s association with the league was aimed at creating better opportunities for local footballers.
He said the company wanted to support a platform where young players could gain exposure and build their careers.
Wasim Ahmed Khan said the success of the first season encouraged the company to continue its association with the league.
He said the tournament helped attract large crowds, improve the standard of football and provide local talent with a professional platform.
Khyber Cement said its support for the Kashmir Super League is part of its wider efforts to promote sports, education and youth development in Jammu and Kashmir.(KINS)
