‘Terror and talks cannot go together’: BJP Leader RS Pathania slams opposition for ‘undermining National Security’

Jammu, July 19 (KINS): Senior BJP leader and MLA RS Pathania has strongly criticized certain political parties and leaders for what he called “playing with the dignity and sacrifices of armed forces.”

Referring to a recent event in New Delhi involving what he called leaders from the “National Conference, Congress, and some fringe elements”, Pathania alleged that even participants from across the border had joined the event online to advocate for dialogue, despite ongoing terrorist threats.

“Terrorism in India—and particularly in Jammu and Kashmir—is not just a law and order issue,” Pathania said as per news agency KINS.

“It is a reflection of Bharat Sarkar’s unshakable resolve to uphold human dignity, ensure the safety and well-being of its citizens, forge national unity, and preserve the democratic values India has stood for since the times of Jammu Maurya.”

Reiterating the government’s official policy of “No talks with terror,” Pathania said it is unfortunate that some domestic leaders are aligning with anti-national narratives. “While Operation Sindhu is underway and our security forces are making relentless sacrifices, some political voices are offering lullabies for dialogue with enemies of peace. This is nothing short of contempt,” he remarked.

Calling it a betrayal of national interest, Pathania warned that such actions could demoralize the armed forces and undermine the government’s sustained counter-terrorism efforts. “The official stance of the Bharat Sarkar is very clear: Talks and terror cannot go together,” he asserted.

The BJP leader urged all political parties to stand united against terrorism and refrain from actions that can compromise the country’s internal security.(KINS)
