Srinagar, Oct 27 (KINS): Congress MLA Iftikhar Ahmad today raised the issue of the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah Shrine in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, strongly condemning the decision to name the shrine’s dining hall after Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi.
The MLA termed the move an “insult to religious sentiments and urged the government to immediately revoke the naming decision, emphasizing that religious places must remain free from political or personal associations”.(KINS)
