Srinagar, Feb 02 (KINS): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Monday declared the results of the Class 11 annual examination, with 83.27 percent of students successfully clearing the test.
According to official data, a total of 81,573 students from Kashmir and the winter zones of Jammu appeared in the examination, out of which 67,932 candidates qualified. The results mark a significant outcome for students who faced multiple disruptions during the academic year.
The academic session leading up to the examinations was affected by a series of challenges. In response, JKBOSE had announced a 15 percent syllabus relaxation for students of Classes 10th, 11th and 12th appearing in the 2025 annual regular examinations.
Officials said the relaxation was granted in view of repeated disruptions, including school closures triggered by war-like situations, a prolonged heat wave during summer, and recent flood-like conditions, all of which adversely impacted classroom teaching and learning schedules across the Union Territory.
Despite these challenges, the overall pass percentage reflects the resilience of students and the efforts of teachers and educational authorities in ensuring academic continuity under difficult circumstances.(KINS)
