SHOPIAN, July 18 (KINS): The District Administration Shopian on Saturday accorded a warm farewell to District Information Officer (DIO) Showkat Hussain Ganie on his transfer to Kulgam.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian Shishir Gupta, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Dr. Nasir Ahmed Lone, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz, along with officers and officials of the District Information Centre (DIC), bid him a fitting farewell in recognition of his dedicated services to the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner lauded Ganie’s professionalism, commitment and significant contribution to the effective dissemination of government initiatives and developmental activities. He appreciated his sincere efforts in strengthening public outreach and wished him success in his new assignment at Kulgam.
The officers and officials also recalled their association with Ganie, praising his dedication, teamwork and cordial working style. They extended their best wishes for his future endeavours.
Expressing gratitude, Ganie thanked the District Administration and his colleagues for their support and cooperation during his tenure in Shopian. He said the memories and experiences gained while serving in the district would always remain close to his heart.
