US to review travel advisory for J&K

Srinagar Aug 19: US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor, after meeting Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Srinagar, Wednesday said New Delhi and the J&K Government have taken “incredible steps” to make the region safer. He added that Washington will review whether the existing travel advisory for the region should be downgraded. Gor described his meeting with the Chief Minister as “very good,” saying follow-up issues would be taken up in Washington and New Delhi
