Srinagar, Nov 03 (KINS): Sat Sharma, appointed as the new president of the Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), expressed his gratitude to the party leaders for placing their trust in him.
Following the BJP’s record-breaking win in the recent elections—where it won 29 seats across Jammu and Kashmir—Sharma pledged to work hard to expand the party’s influence in the Union Territory.
He expressed his commitment to facing any challenges ahead and to promoting the BJP’s vision for growth and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
“I am very thankful to all the leaders of the party who have given me this great responsibility,” Sharma told news agency KINS.
“The BJP made history in the recent elections, gaining an incredible share of the vote across both Jammu and Kashmir.”
Sharma attributed the party’s success to the dedication of its leaders, campaigners, and supporters. “For the first time, we’ve won 29 seats, and I’m grateful to the leadership that supported us throughout the campaign,” he said.
Sharma also promised to keep strengthening the party’s base and tackle any issues that may come up. “I will work closely with party leaders and members under their guidance, and if there are any shortcomings, I will do my best to address them,” he pledged.(KINS)
