Gandhis, Abdullahs tarnished Ambedkar’s legacy: BJP’s Tarun Chugh

Jammu, Dec 24 (KINS): BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh accused the Gandhi and Abdullah families of tarnishing the legacy of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and undermining his ideals.
Chugh alleged that former Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and Rajiv Gandhi deliberately harmed Ambedkar’s reputation, with Nehru ensuring his electoral defeat and Indira and Rajiv twisting the reservation policy.
He also criticized the Abdullah government for allegedly attempting to revoke reservations for Dalits and backward classes, which he vowed the BJP would oppose.
Chugh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for honoring Ambedkar’s philosophy and contributions to nation-building.
Addressing party workers, he urged them to strengthen the BJP at the grassroots level and expose the failures of the Abdullah government while ensuring that Modi’s development initiatives reach all sections of J&K society.(KINS)
