Srinagar, May 25 (KINS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday hailed the extraordinary bravery and swift response of disaster response teams for safely rescuing around 300 tourists stranded mid-air in Gulmarg’s cable cars.
In a statement on social media, the LG said the nation stands united in applauding the efforts of the Army, J&K Police, SDRF, NDRF, Deputy Commissioners, and SSPs, who promptly launched a massive rescue operation after 65 cable cars got stranded.
He said the six-hour-long coordinated operation ensured the safe evacuation of all passengers and reflected the courage, dedication, and professionalism of the rescue personnel involved.(KINS)
