Traders of Lal Chowk decide to shut businesses after 3 pm in protest

Srinagar: The Lal Chowk Traders Association have decided to shut their businesses from 3 pm onwards on Saturday to protest against the attacks by right wing extremists on Kashmiris in Jammu.

Din Muhammad, the president of the association said that all the shopkeepers in the city centre will down their shutters to protest against the arson attacks in Jammu and harassment of Kashmiri students.

A number of quarters belonging to Kashmiris in the Janipur area of Jammu were attacked by frenzied mobs, despite imposition of curfew in the city on Saturday.
