Srinagar, July 07(KINS): Kashmir reported fresh four COVID related deaths on Tuesday, taking the fatalities due to COVID-19 in Jammu and Kashmir to 144.
The latest fatalities include , a 60-year-old woman from Kunzar Baramulla, 78-year-old woman from Khrew Pulwama, a 65-year-old woman from Noor Bagh, Srinagar and a 62-year-old man from Batpora Ananthnag.
Dr Saleem Tak, Medical Superintendent at CD hospital told Kashmir Indepth News Service (KINS) that a woman from Kunzar area of Baramulla who was admitted on July 03 and was kept on ventilator died at hospital on Tuesday morning. He said that the patient was suffering from multiple ailments including COPD and pneumonia.
Meanwhile two pateints who died of this deadly virus at SMHS including 78-year-old woman from Khrew Pulwama and a 65-year-old woman from Noor Bagh, Srinagar.
Giving details about these two victims Dr. Nazir Choudary said that a 65-year-old woman from Noor Bagh, Srinagar who was admitted in triage ward of SMHS was suffering from multiple ailments. He said that the woman tested positive after her death.
While another 78-year-old woman from Khrew Pulwama who was admitted at SMHS and tested positive for Covid-19 a few hours after her death.
MedicalSuperintendent at SKIMS Professor Farooq Jan told KINS that a 62-year-old man from Batpora Anantanag died of COVID-910. He said the patient was a case of Hypertension, T2DM COPD T1RF, Bilateral CAP was admitted in ward 2A as case of suspected COVID.
With these fresh four deaths, the toll related to COVID-19 has reached to 144 in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir— 130 from the Valley and 14 from Jammu division. (KINS)
