SRINAGAR, August 15: The J-K Government has awarded Jammu and Kashmir Police Medals for meritorious services to six Police officers and officials on the eve of Independence Day 2020.
The awardees are Mr T Namgiyal, inspector General of Police, Mr Haseeb-ur-Rahman, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Mr Swarn Singh Kotwal, SSP, Mr Showkat Ahmad Dar, SSP, Mr Surinder Kumar Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and Mr Ashiq Hussain Malik, Inspector.
The J-K Government has also awarded Jammu and Kashmir Police Medals for Gallantry to 202 police officers and officials on the eve of Independence Day 2020.
