Hope Taliban delivers good governance, respect human rights in Afghanistan: Farooq  

Srinagar, Sep 8 (KINS ) National Conference (NC) president and Member of Parliament (MP) Farooq Abdullah on Wednesday hoped that Taliban delivers good governance and respects human rights in Afghanistan.

“Afghanistan is a separate country. They (Taliban) have to take care of the country and its people,” Dr Abdullah, who is the former chief minister of J&K, told reporters in response to a question here.

“I hope they (Taliban) will do justice with everyone and deliver good governance. The kind of administration which respects human rights and follows Islamic principles,” he added.  Dr Abdullah said that the Taliban should try to develop friendly relations with every country.
