CBK arrests an accused evading arrest in issuing fake marks certifites in Kashmir

 

Srinagar, Dec 7 (KINS) Crime Branch Kashmir (CBK) on Tuesday arrested a person involved in preparing fake marks certificates of Higher Secondary classes in Handwara area of frontier Kashmir district of Kupwara.

A spokesman of the CBK said, Aejaz Ahmad Malik of Village Vilgam in Kupwara district, who was involved in issuing fake marks certificates of Higher Secondary part 2nd to students for seeking admission in different colleges of the valley was evading arrest since 2018.

A cse under FIR No: 34/2007 U/S 420,468,471,120-B RPC was registered and investigations proved against the accused Aejaz Ahmad Malik and five others.

The chargesheet in this case was filed before the court of Law on December 28, 2010. However the accused Aejaz Ahmad Malik was absconding and evading arrest since the year 2018.

A warrant was issued by the court of city Judge Srinagar against the Aejaz Ahmad which was accordingly executed by the CBK and the accused was arrested, the CBK statement said.( KINS)
