Some PDP leaders approached Nagpur to form the government after Mufti’s death : Mehbooba

Srinagar, Jan 07 : PDP President and Former Cheif Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday said that it was not her political opponants only who always try dissteplise PDP but there were certain political leaders inside her party who had approached RSS headquarters in Nagpur to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir soon after the demise of her father Mufti Mohammad Syed.

Addressing a Commemoration ceremony of third death anniversary of her father at Bejbehra Mehbooba said that some of her party collegues were after power so had created a difficult environment for her in running the government and the party affair.

The Former Cheif Minister appologize for her infamous remarks ”Toffee and Milk” utterd by her during a joint press conference given in Srinagar along with the Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.

She also solicited applogosies if any sentiments were hurt because of her recent visits to the families of slain militants in south Kashmir.

Mehbooba reiterrated that she will continue to further PDP’s agenda of peaceful resolution of Kashmir issue.

Appealing party workers to repose trust and confidence in her party Mehbooba said that formation of the government or coming to power has never been a priority for her and her party.
