CRPF Commandant dies of brain haemorrhage in central Kashmir’s Kangan

Srinagar, Jan 28 : An officer of paramilitary Central Reserve Police (CRPF) allegedly died due to brain haemorrhage in Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday, officials said.

Assistant commandant CRPF, Ravinder Kumar of 118 Bn fell unconscious at his camp in Gund area of Kangan today afternoon, said an official.

He said Kumar, a resident of village Mahrar in Uttar Pradesh started bleeding from his nose and mouth following which he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he breathed his last.

A case has been registered under 174 RPC in this regard at police station Gund and investigation is on,” said the official. (Agencies)
