Don’t discredit Hurriyat and militant leadership, PDP tells NC

Srinagar, Feb 9, : Peoples Democratic Party Saturday said that Hurriyat and militant leadership are the main stakeholders of Kashmir dispute.

Addressing a gathering in Pulwama PDP State Secretary Dr Mir Sammiullah lashed out at National Conference for being an obstacl in resolving Kashmir dispute by discrediting Hurriyat Conference and militant leadership time and again.

Dr Samiullah reiterated the fact that Hurriyat and militant leadership are the main stakeholders of Kashmir dispute and it is they who have to be talked to for final resolution of this vexed problem.

Dr Sammiullah said that PDP has always advocated and strove for such talks and has been trying hard to facilitate talks between Hurriyat and New Delhi. “The continuous and determined stand of PDP to facilitate such a thing ultimately led BJP to withdraw support from state government,” he added.
