May 11 :Government forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in lonpora village of hugam Srigufwara district Anantnag.
Official sources told that the search operation was launched on basis of a specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
“A joint team of forces including 55 RR has launched search operation in the area,” an official told
Locals told that huge contingents of forces were deployed in the area. Search operation was going on when the report was filed.
