Vote common man’s most potent weapon : Munish

Jammu : Editor Early Times, Munsih Gupta, on Tuesday assured the people that he would try his best to address the problems being faced by them.

Carrying forward his mass contact programme at Colonel Colony and Ranibagh localities near Jammu Airport, Munish said,”It’s unfortunate that our representatives, whom we vote for just forget us after assuming power,” Manish told the people.

“Your areas are just few kilometers away from the main city but these have been ignored by one and all,” said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from the Gandhi Nagar constituency.

He said that the politicians, who believe that they can get away with anything and people have no option other than to vote for them, should wake up from the deep slumber as “times have changed.”

“People don’t believe in rhetoric anymore. They want their elected representatives to perform. Non-performers don’t fit in the system anymore,” Munish added.

He said that vote is the most “potent weapon” which a common man possesses. “Forthcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity for all us to tell the complacent politicians that they are the not the only ones who are born to rule. We should use our vote sensibly to drive home a point that no one can take the common man for granted,” Munish added.
