Army soldier dies of electric shock in North Kashmir

Bandipora, Jun 06 : An army soldier died due to electrocution along Line of Control (LOC) in Sonarwain area of Bandipora in north Kashmir on Thursday.

Reports reaching said an army soldier identified as Rathod Bhavesh Bhai Dheeru Bhai (22) of 23 Martha along Line of Control (LOC) received electric shock while repairing electric lines inside the army camp.

Reports said that the injured soldier was taken to army’s 92 base hospital Srinagar, where he breathed his last.

A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that that police has taken cognizance in this regard. (GNS)
