Muzaffar Parray resigns from basic membership of Congress

Srinagar, July 30 : Senior leader of state Congress Mohammad Muzaffar Parray Tuesday resigned from the basic membership of the party.

In a statement  he said, “After thoughtful and active consideration I am resigning from basic membership of Congress party after 44 years of long association, not because of the fact that it has been put to root but because of deviation and departure of its so called leaders from the basic philosophy of the party for which I had requested your good self, Rahul Gandhi and others for grant of audience so many times.”

“But it did not crystallize because of the negative role so played by some self-conceited leaders to frustrate my efforts to meet your good self and others because they knew that I would expose them for their willful follies,” he said.
