Gunfight rages in Kashmir’s Tral

A gunfight between the government forces and militants has begun in South Kashmir’s Tral on Sunday morning.

Reports said that following specific input about the presence of militants, a mixture of joint forces including Army’, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area. Subsequently, the searches were started, however, as the forces personnel approached to the hiding spot, militants opened fire on them, triggering an encounter.

Police also confirmed this gunfight on official tweeter page.
