Three houses gutted in fire mishap in Bandpur

Bandipora : Three residential houses were gutted in a fire mishap here in north Kashmir’s Bandipur, leaving three families shelterless and causing huge loss of property.

Reports reaching said the fire broke out from the house of Mohammad Akbar Sheikh at Ward No 4 in Plan Bandpur and engulfed two adjacent houses of Barkatullah Mir and Mushtaq Ahmad Sheikh within no time.

Reports added that the electric short circuit is said to be cause of fire.

Fire tenders with the help of locals douse the flames and stopped fire for more spreading to other near houses in the area.

Reports further mention that the property worth lacs of rupees were completely gutted in the mishap and the area is still under trauma due to the heavy loss caused the properties.
