Police public interaction meeting held at Panthachowk

March 07: Continuing with its public outreach programme, Srinagar police held an interactive meeting at SDPO office Panthachowk. The meeting was chaired by SDPO Panthachowk along with SHO Police Station Panthachowk.

The meeting was attended by the transporters operating in the area of Panthachowk. During the meeting, various ways to improve police-public relations were discussed with the participants. The meeting was organized to facilitate interaction with them and redress their grievances so as to create cordial police-public relationship.

The chairing officer stressed upon the participants that tourist flow is likely to increase in the coming days as such more cooperation with police will facilitate the smooth movement of traffic in the area & shall minimise traffic congestion.

The participants hailed the efforts of police in facilitating interaction meets where participants express their opinion freely. The participants thanked & assured full cooperation to curb the social evils in the area.
