AIP urges present-day Government to immediately airlift Kashmiri students from Iran.

Srinagar, Mar 09 : Lambasting the present-day Government over their horrid negligence and deep slumber over airlifting Kashmiri students from Iran, Awami Itehad Party today in a statement asked the Modi regime not to play with the lives of innocent students.

a statement reads ,the step-motherly treatment that has been meted out to the waiting students in Iran is astounding.

If hundreds of citizens from Wuhan could have been airlifted, why is the Government sleeping over the worsening situation in Iran? Scores of businessmen, traders and majorly students from Kashmir are stuck in Iran and in view of spread of Corona Virus where already there have been thousands of confirmed cases, it becomes all the very more important for Government to immediately evacuate stranded Kashmiris from Iran.

Its a worrisome scenario and lives of hundreds of Kashmiris are at stake, mere assurances would not yield any results.

Nearly six thousand people are infected and 145 have died of the virus in Iran.

Awami Itehad Party strongly urges the Government to shun its oscitancy and immediately facilitate the transfer of Kashmiris from Iran said party Spokesperson Sheeban Ashai.

The party also appealed people at large, Kashmir in particular to maintain calm and not spread panic as there have been no cases of the Virus in the valley up until now.

It is good to take precautionary measures but unnecessary hoarding of masks or sanitizers must be avoided.
