Congress seeks posting of SRO 202 Lecturers in J&K, says the lecturers completed their tenure in UT of Leh

Srinagar, March 10 : The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has sought posting of SRO 202 lectures, presently posted in UT of Ladkah in J&K, citing the reason as completion of their tenure.

The lecturers have also approached Congress President with the request of their immediate shifting from UT of Leh in view of the Covid 19 threat.

The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has urged upon the Lt. Governor J&K to  look into the grievances of SRO 202 Lecturers posted in Leh and direct the concerned authorities to start the process of their posting in J&K, as that, they have already completed their tenure in UT of Ladakh.

Mir said that out of 1059 Lecturers only 60 Lecturers from J&K are still posted in Leh despite having completed their Tenure, the closure of markets in Leh, as reported, due to Covid 19 threat, the Lecturers from J&K are facing difficulties on account of essentials etc G.A. Mir said.

Mir described the demand of the lecturers as very genuine, seeking their posting in J&K, as that 74 Masters from Ladakh have recently been promoted as I/C Lecturers, who can perform their duties at different place in UT of Leh, he added and laid emphasizes over posting of remaining 60 lecturers in J&K.
